APC Youth Coalition Congratulates Ali Bukar Dalori for replacing Ganduje as Acting National Chairman

The Coalition of APC Progressive Youths has extended its congratulations to Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori on his emergence as the acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), following the sudden resignation of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. The Chairman of the group, Sadiq Ali Sango, made this known while addressing journalists in Abuja.  Sango, who has been an outspoken critic of Ganduje's leadership style, also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as a bold move to salvage the party by facilitating Ganduje’s resignation. "We believe that Hon. Dalori has the capacity and political will to deliver and reposition the party to a more stable and progressive path, especially as we move closer to the upcoming elections," Sango stated. He urged party members and stakeholders to rally behind the new leadership to ensure unity, inclusiveness, and victory for the APC at all levels.

Constitution Review Public Hearings: As DSP Barau Applies Patriotism to Deliver Goodies

By Abba Anwar   As the Deputy Senate President, Barau I Jibrin, chairs the Senate Committee on the Review of the 1999 Constitution, he has been employing patriotic energy to bridge many developing gaps that stand between the document (Constitution) and citizens engagement.  This is practically done to deconstruct the beclouded understanding of our citizens, of the written rules and regulations governing our dear nation.  His effort in planning to conduct public hearings across the six geopolitical zones slated for July 4th and 5th, 2025, aimed to create corridor for gathering citizens' inputs on proposed constitutional amendments. To my knowledge, of all the Constitution review process (s) since the return of democracy in Nigeria, from 1999, the one chairs by Senator Jibrin, is the only one that displays clear and genuine patriotic commitment to all sections of the federation, without any form of segregation, of whatever coloration.  For my readers to have an unwaver...

Aisha Garba’s Bold Vision for Transforming Basic Education in Nigeria

By Suhaib Auwal   In a country where the foundational pillars of education have long been riddled with structural gaps, funding constraints, and policy inconsistencies, the recent leadership at the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) signals a renewed hope.  Since her appointment as the Executive Secretary of UBEC, Aisha Garba has embarked on a reformist mission that seeks not just to address the surface-level symptoms, but to cure the systemic ailments crippling Nigeria’s basic education sector. At the core of her vision is a comprehensive, inclusive, and technology-driven approach to strengthening basic education delivery. Her leadership style is not only proactive, but it also reflects a deep understanding of Nigeria's complex educational terrain.  With over 17 million children currently out of school, Garba has made it unequivocally clear: this figure is unacceptable, and she intends to drastically reduce it within the shortest possible time. A Three-Pronged V...

Empathy in Action: Shehu Dikko’s Compassionate Response to Kano Tragedy

By Suhaib Auwal In an era when public officials are often accused of being aloof and disconnected from the everyday realities of citizens, Mallam Shehu Dikko, Chairman of the National Sports Commission (NSC), has again demonstrated what it means to lead with empathy, humility, and an unwavering sense of responsibility. Following the devastating road accident involving the Kano State contingents returning from the National Sports Festival in Ogun State, Nigeria was plunged into mourning. The lives of young, promising athletes were tragically cut short, a loss not just for Kano, but for the entire nation. Amid the sorrow, one man stood out for his swift and sincere response: Shehu Dikko. At the time of the incident, Dikko was in the United Kingdom attending the final of the 2025 Unity Cup in London as a Special Guest. His trip was not merely ceremonial, he was engaged in strategic meetings focused on strengthening Nigeria’s domestic sports infrastructure. But when news of the trage...
