Inuwa Waya appoints Sec gen, campaign directors


The central campaign organization of Kano state gubernatorial candidate, Malam Inuwa Waya, has appointed Secretary General and campaign directors to steer activities of the organization, as 2023 general elections is fast approaching. 


The Director General of Inuwa Waya Campaign Organization, Mujahid Zaitawa, said Malam Inuwa Waya appointed Hon. Babangida Aliyu Sharada as Secretary General, while Kamal Sarki will serve as organizing secretary.

Other appointees, are Sadiq Ali Sango as Director Youth and Mobilization, Baffa Dandatti as Director Welfare, Aisha Aliyu Gama as Women Leader, and Balarabe Yakudi as Publicity Secretary, while Auwal Mahmud Durumin Iya will serve as Assistant Publicity Secretary, among others. 

While briefing journalists about this development, newly appointed Secretary General of Inuwa Waya Campaign Organization, Hon. Babangida Aliyu Sharada, said their appointment is in line with Inuwa Waya's commitment to bring competent and capacitated people that would play key roles in ensuring his success in the 2023 forthcoming elections.

He added that "Malam Inuwa Waya Raba Gardama is the best candidate among those that are contesting, he is more qualified than all of them, hence it will be easy for him to defeat them and emerge victorious in the election.

He noted that "We are solidly behind Raba Gardama, and will work tirelessly until he become Kano State governor."

Regarding his appointment, Hon. Babangida Aliyu Sharada said "Am saddled with a big responsibility which is Secretary General of the campaign Organization, but with my experience and composure, I believe I can handle the work excellently. I will inject new ideas and campaign technicalities in order to make our campaign organization the best, which will pave the way for our success in 2023 general elections."


Hon. Babangida Aliyu Sharada urged good people of Kano state to continue supporting and praying for Malam Inuwa Waya to become the successor of incumbent Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
