APC CAPITALIST NATURE: A DECLARATION OF WAR WITH YOUTHS AND THE MASSES

The All Progressive Congress APC is no friend for youth and the common man.

As you can recall I wrote earlier about the party as an Anti youth movement considering the amount of 5million for form of the office of the youth leader in the previous congress.

The Buhari administration under the APC pass a bill for not too young to run which motivated the youths and give them the zeal to contest for public offices.

The bill was just a theory as usual but the party was never serious in implementing and giving the youth the opportunity to participate in partisan politics as they advocated for.

The opposition party of PDP did well by making the nomination form for their congress affordable for the youth and also giving a 25year old youth an opportunity to be the youth leader unlike APC whose nomination form for the office of youth leader was 5million and the congress was undemocratic.

As we know we have credible youth with capacity and capability to rule and make Nigeria a better place but with the current capitalist nature of the APC, youth are left with no choice to be in the party.

The Presidential form is 100million, Governorship form is 50million, Senate is 20million, House of Representatives is 10million and House of assembly 2million with the fact that women, youth and disabled have discount of 40%.

Let set aside the issue of youth, women and the disabled, what about credible candidates who are willing to contest?? Only the corrupt leaders who have looted our nation and contributed to the bad state of our country have the capacity to pay such amount.

So in a nutshell APC has declared a war against the youth and the common man.

APC is a party for only the rich people, the masses are only slaves.

How do you expect a person buying form at the rate of 100, 50, 20, 10 million respectively to serve you well. Politics is now turning into investment and a common man has no hope.

Kwankwasiyya Rubble-Rousing Short-Wave Politics

By Aliyu Dalhatu Adamu Department of Sociology, Federal University of Dutsin-Ma, Katsina State. The construction of 85km rural roads was flagged-off by the Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, on Monday 17th June 2024 at Madobi Local Government. The occasion afforded Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the 2023 elections, an opportunity to ventilate his feelings on the forces in political contest in Kano State.  Many people believe that Kano is suffering great abuse in the tight grief of Kwankwaso as an alternate, if not the real, governor in his illegal Third Term. In his emotional outburst, the former Presidential candidate alluded to a number of issues, which many see as pointers to the inner workings of his mind, suggesting his political fortunes in the State are nose-diving or in the least taking a big hit. For instance, from the vituperations of Kwankwaso, one can easily understand that, the NNPP, as...
