KNUPDA inaugurate 3 committees to ensure recovery of assets, harmonization of event centers

The Managing Director Kano State Urban Planning and Development Authority KNUPDA Arch. Ibrahim Yakubu Adamu, has inaugurated three standing committees saddled with the responsibility of reviewing and reviving the structures built illegally across Kano state.

The first committee tagged "Operation shows your building approval and permit" is aimed at going round the state to ensure that people acquired their buildings legally by showing their approval and building permit.

The second committee ensures the recovery of assets, corner-shops and Public conveniences acquired illegally.

While the third committee to ensure the harmonization of event centers, sports arenas and restaurants in GRAs.

Speaking at the inauguration of the committees, Arch. Ibrahim Yakubu Adamu tasked the committees to work assiduously towards bringing reports that would help the state government take the best decision regarding planning and the development of the Kano.

He emphasized on the need to ensure all the buildings are in accordance with the building rules regulations of the KNUPDA.
