Ogan Boye urges youth to use social media for economic development

Special Adviser to Kano state governor on Youth and Sports Development Amb. Yusuf Ogan Boye has urged youth to focus on using social media for their personal and economic development.

Amb. Yusuf Ogan Boye stated this, during Social Media Connect, organized by Nasarawa Local Government, with the theme "Role and Importance or Media in our Day to Day Activities".

He said social media plays a vital role in sharping the mind the of general public and set agenda for the social and economic development of any community.

He added that there are so many opportunities in social media that our youths are not harnessing.

"There is need to shift focus, unite ourselves so that we can leverage on the numerous opportunities which will help us develop ourselves, our dear state and Nigeria at large."

" I want to reassure the commitment of Kano state government under the leadership of Abba Kabir Yusuf towards engaging youths in political activities and empower them to march their counterparts across Nigeria and Africa."

"Am delighted to see young people gathered here with the same mission and vision irrespective of political affiliation, media for personal development, hence am advocating for our youths to change their mindset with regards to the use of Social Media."

Hundreds of young men and women across Nasarawa Local Government and neighborhood attended the summit, where Speeches and papers were presented.
