Arewa Youth Assembly Hails Mele Kyari as a Visionary Leader, Celebrates His Birthday

The Arewa Youth Assembly for Good Leadership, a coalition of over 57 youth support groups in northern Nigeria, has celebrated the birthday of the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mele Kyari, on Sunday.

In a statement signed by its Speaker National, Amb. Abdul Danbature , described Kyari as a visionary leader, a patriotic Nigerian, and a role model for the youth.

Amb. Abdul Danbature said "We join millions of Nigerians and well-wishers across the globe to celebrate the birthday of our amiable and dynamic GMD of NNPC, Mele Kyari, who has distinguished himself as a man of integrity, competence, and excellence in the oil and gas sector.

"We are proud of his achievements and contributions to the development of the nation's economy, especially in the areas of transparency, accountability, and innovation. He has also demonstrated his commitment to the welfare and empowerment of the youth, as evidenced by his support for the Open Government Initiative and the Commodity Trading Initiative, which have created opportunities for young entrepreneurs in the oil and gas industry.

"We commend his efforts in ensuring the stability and security of the nation's oil and gas assets, as well as his leadership role in the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), where he represents Nigeria's interests and promotes the cooperation and collaboration of the member countries.

"We pray that God Almighty will grant him long life, good health, and more wisdom to continue to serve the nation and humanity with diligence and dedication."
