Arewa Youths, Civil Society Applaud NNPC GMD for His Leadership and Vision

The Arewa Youths Assembly and the National Civil Society Council of Nigeria expressed their admiration for the Group Managing Director (GMD) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Mallam Mele Kyari, for his remarkable achievements in the energy sector. 

The statement was made at an international press briefing in Abuja, presided over by the Speaker of the Arewa Youths Assembly, Amb Abdul Danbature.


Amb Abdul Danbature praised the GMD for his exceptional leadership and vision, which have positively impacted the oil and gas industry. 

He said, "We are here today to acknowledge the remarkable efforts of the GMD of NNPC, whose dedication and strategic plans have greatly improved the stability and growth of our nation's energy sector."


Amb Abdul Danbature also emphasized the fruitful partnership between the NNPC and civil society in promoting transparency and accountability in the oil and gas industry.

 He also recognized the role of the NNPC GMD in youth development, saying that history would be kind to Kyari, as he would be remembered as the person who mentored hundreds of youths and promoted youth inclusion in government, which paved the way for young men and women to get good opportunities at the state and federal government levels.

The Arewa Youths Assembly and the National Civil Society Council of Nigeria urged the NNPC GMD to continue to create a favorable environment for youths across Nigeria.
