Arewa APC Merger Group Hails DSP Barau for Establishing Northwest Development Commission

The Arewa APC Merger Group has commended Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin and President Bola Tinubu for the establishment of the Northwest Development Commission.

A statement signed by Hon. Musa Mujahid Zaitawa, National Coordinator of the group, said the approval of the commission by President Tinubu is a testament to his commitment to addressing the challenges facing the North West geopolitical zone and the country at large.

The commission bill, sponsored by Deputy Senate President Barau at the senate, aims to address the challenges facing the seven states in the North West, including Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Jigawa, Sokoto, and Zamfara States.

The group expressed gratitude to President Tinubu and Deputy Senate President Barau for their efforts, urging all Nigerians to support the president in his endeavors to address the country's challenges.

This development is seen as a significant milestone in the region's development, and the group is optimistic that the commission will bring about positive change to the people of the North West.
