The Northwest region of Nigeria has historically been a region rich in culture, ambition, and resilience. Yet, it has often needed a strong advocate to address its unique challenges and promote development at the grassroots level.

In this regard, Abdullahi Tanko Yakasai, Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Community Engagement in the Northwest, has emerged as a true leader, embodying the spirit of grassroots mobilization and community-oriented governance.

Yakasai, a young and energetic advocate, played a significant role in the campaign that brought President Tinubu into office. His commitment to grassroots mobilization ensured the voices and needs of the people were represented, laying a foundation of trust and anticipation for the Tinubu administration among citizens in the Northwest.

Yakasai’s approach wasn’t merely about securing votes, it was about fostering a connection between the government and the people, and ensuring that citizens felt empowered to participate in the democratic process.

Since assuming his role in the Tinubu administration, Yakasai has demonstrated tireless dedication in advocating for the Northwest’s interests. His efforts include organizing multiple programs aimed at both development and public enlightenment.

He is at the forefront of educating communities about President Tinubu’s vision for Nigeria and the administration’s transformative plans. His passion for this mission has inspired many to place their trust in the government's potential to address the region’s pressing needs.

In Kano, Abdullahi Tanko Yakasai’s efforts have been especially visible. His contributions to education and youth empowerment speak volumes about his commitment to long-term change. With numerous classrooms renovated and essential learning materials distributed, Yakasai is not only improving educational infrastructure but also offering hope to students and their families. His dedication to empowering young people is equally notable, as he has worked tirelessly to secure job placements for unemployed youth.

This act alone demonstrates his understanding of the importance of giving the youth a sense of purpose and confidence in the future.

Yakasai’s efforts do not stop at infrastructure or job placement; they extend into the intangible realm of morale and public confidence.

In every speech and engagement, he strives to reassure the youth and the public at large that the Tinubu administration is committed to delivering on its promises

His unwavering advocacy and positive messaging are vital for building public trust, which is essential for any administration aiming to make impactful, long-lasting change.

With leaders like Abdullahi Tanko Yakasai in Tinubu’s administration, there is hope for a brighter future for the Northwest and, by extension, Nigeria as a whole.

His deep understanding of the region’s needs, combined with his proactive approach, sets a standard for public service. The Northwest is not only benefiting from his efforts but is also watching the example he sets for leadership, integrity, and commitment to public welfare.

As the Tinubu administration moves forward, it is clear that Abdullahi Tanko Yakasai’s contributions will be indispensable.

His dedication, achievements, and vision make him a fitting candidate for any future roles within the administration, where his skills and passion can further contribute to national development.

The construction of 85km rural roads was flagged-off by the Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, on Monday 17th June 2024 at Madobi Local Government. The occasion afforded Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the 2023 elections, an opportunity to ventilate his feelings on the forces in political contest in Kano State.  Many people believe that Kano is suffering great abuse in the tight grief of Kwankwaso as an alternate, if not the real, governor in his illegal Third Term. In his emotional outburst, the former Presidential candidate alluded to a number of issues, which many see as pointers to the inner workings of his mind, suggesting his political fortunes in the State are nose-diving or in the least taking a big hit. For instance, from the vituperations of Kwankwaso, one can easily understand that, the NNPP, as...
