Barr. Ismaeel Meets Minister Musawa, Push for Youth-Centered Projects in Kumbotso

APC Chieftain, Barr. Ismaeel Idris Kumbotso, Visits Minister Hannatu Musawa to Strengthen Youth Empowerment in Northern Nigeria

A prominent politician from APC Kano Barrister Ismaeel Idris Kumbotso, paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Art, Culture and the Creative Economy Hajia Hannatu Musa Musawa, in her office, in Abuja.

The high-level engagement focused on fostering strategic collaborations aimed at improving the lives of youth in Northern Nigeria, with a special emphasis on Kano State and Kumbotso Local Government Area.

During the meeting, both leaders exchanged ideas on practical steps to empower young men and women through digital skills, education, innovation hubs, and community-based development programmes.

They jointly acknowledged the pressing challenges of unemployment and limited educational opportunities, and pledged to work together to bridge these gaps.

Speaking to journalists after the meeting, Barr. Ismaeel emphasized the need for stronger inter-agency collaboration to deliver tangible development outcomes for Nigerian youth.

"This is a crucial time for our youth, We must move beyond policy-making and get back to practical work to improve the quality of life, especially in areas like Kumbotso where the youth are numerous and full of energy and talent."

The Minister, in her remarks, commended Barr. Ismaeel’s commitment to grassroots development and assured him of the ministry’s support in aligning national digital economy initiatives with local empowerment needs.

The visit is seen as a significant step toward unlocking more opportunities for young people in the region and signals a growing synergy between political leaders and federal ministries to address Nigeria’s pressing development challenges.
