Former Deputy Governor of Kano State, Prof. Hafizu Abubakar, has urged his supporters to remain loyal and obedient to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, Abdullahi Abbas, in the interest of unity and progress within the party.

Prof. Hafizu made this call during a meeting with his supporters in Kano, where he stressed that respect for constituted authority and adherence to party leadership are key to building a strong and successful political structure.

He advised his followers to put aside personal interests and work collectively under the leadership of the governor and the party chairman, noting that discipline and cooperation would enhance the APC’s chances of achieving its goals in the state.

According to him, obedience to party directives and support for recognized leaders would promote internal harmony and prevent unnecessary divisions within the party.

The former deputy governor also encouraged his supporters to participate actively in the ongoing APC membership registration exercise, describing it as an important step toward strengthening the party at the grassroots level.

This position was contained in a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the Kano First Organisation, Hon. Sadiq Ali Sango, who said the meeting was aimed at reinforcing loyalty, unity, and commitment among members.

Hon. Sango added that Prof. Hafizu remains committed to fostering peaceful political engagement and ensuring that his supporters contribute positively to the stability and success of the APC in Kano State.

He further called on party members to rally behind the leadership of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and Abdullahi Abbas to move the party forward.

In his emotional outburst, the former Presidential candidate alluded to a number of issues, which many see as pointers to the inner workings of his mind, suggesting his political fortunes in the State are nose-diving or in the least taking a big hit. For instance, from the vituperations of Kwankwaso, one can easily understand that, the NNPP, as...
