AA Zaura Condemns Bandits’ Attacks in Kano Communities, Calls for Immediate and Decisive Security Action
By Suhaib Auwal The All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and Kano governorship hopeful, Abdulkarim Abdussalam Zaura (AA Zaura), has condemned the renewed attacks by bandits in some parts of Kano State, calling on security agencies to intensify operations and restore peace in the affected communities. Reacting to the recent incursion by bandits in Yankamaye village in Tsanyawa LGA, where a woman was reportedly killed and three persons abducted, Zaura described the incident as disturbing and unacceptable, urging security operatives to “move swiftly and decisively” against the perpetrators. Zaura lamented that the attacks came barely days after a similar assault in Biresawa village, also in Tsanyawa LGA, stressing the need for urgent and coordinated action to protect residents.
