APC Youth Forum Congratulates Umar Doguwa on Election as APC Kano Chairman

The Coalition of APC Progressive Youths Forum has congratulated Umar Haruna Doguwa on his election as the party’s state chairman.

The coalition gave the commendation following what they described as a peaceful and well-organised state congress held at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Forum’s Chairman Hon. Sadiq Ali Sango.

According to Sango, Doguwa is a seasoned politician with proven track records and strong grassroots mobilisation capacity, which, positions him well to lead the party at this critical time.

“We are confident that his experience and commitment to party unity will help strengthen the APC in Kano State,” the statement said.

The forum further expressed optimism that Doguwa’s leadership would reposition the party for success in the 2026 elections, adding that his inclusive approach would foster harmony among party members.

Hon. Sango also commended Abba Kabir Yusuf for his role in ensuring the successful and peaceful conduct of the congress. 

He noted that the governor’s commitment to transparency and orderliness contributed significantly to the credibility of the election.

The Coalition of APC Progressive Youths Forum called on all stakeholders to support the new chairman in his efforts to consolidate the party and deepen internal democracy in the state.
