Baffa Dandatti: Way forward for Gwale

When the contemporaries of Kano state are moving steadfastly courtesy of good leadership, determination and aspiration of their elected members of Federal House of Representatives, Kano is moving helter-skelter as a result of electing undeserved members to represent the state at the green chamber.

Gwale is one of the most popular local governments in Nigeria, and epicenter of Kano politics which dynamic political orientation, yet the local government is facing a serious problem in terms of representation at the Federal House of Representatives.

A recent report released by the Green Chamber turned out to be embarrassing and shameful to good people of Gwale Local Government and Kano. The report shows that the current member representing the local government did not sponsor any bill in two years. This implies that he spent half of his tenure warming chair and enjoying lucrative dividends, while his people are suffering from serious issues which requires his urgent attention.

In the quest for people to change this member, after searching every nook and cranny of Gwale Local Government the result shows that only Hon Dr. Baffa Dandatti Abdulkadir (Maliyan Gwale) can change the bad leadership, salvage and uplift Gwale to match the most developed local governments not only in Nigeria but in Africa and globally.

The name Maliyan Gwale is not new to people who are familiar and conversant with Kano politics, especially less-privileged people, women and youths as they are the category of people that benefited immensely from kind gestures and humanitarian activities.

Dr. Baffa Dandatti is a son of the world renowned Professor and Ambassador Dandatti Abdulkadir. He is also a Phd holder. He grow up from a highly-disciplined family, acquired both western and Islamic education at early age. This gives an opportunity to interact, associate and mingle with reputable people at young age. Undoubtedly he is well-experienced and exposed.

Baffa is a positive thinker who believes in human and capital development, a vibrant and agile freedom fighter who say the truth, act for the truth and defend the truth.

Politically he is tactician who knows Nigerian politics very well having worked closely with so many bigwigs at federal level including APC leader Bola Tinubu and many more. Therefore he will perform wonderfully in Gwale and Gwale politics.

If good of Gwale elect Hon. Maliyan Gwale as their representative at Federal Assembly in 2023, they will wonder and apologize to him for the mistake they for not electing him in the first place because of developmental projects he will bring to Kano and act decisively to sponsor bills that would help Gwale to prosper so that thousands of people will enjoy dividends of democracy because good work Hon. Baffa Dandatti.

DISRESPECTING COURT ORDER REGARDING KANO EMIRATE CRISIS

By Dr. Usman Suleiman Sarki Law and order are the bedrock of harmonious living in every human society.  This necessitated the establishment of judicial system responsible for the enforcement of law and order as well as the settlement of disputes between parties.  One most important organ of the judiciary is the Court that determines cases brought before it using appropriate legal procedures. In an effort to ensure the proper discharge of its duties, the court gives order(s) to individuals, group, organizations/institutions and state mandating them to refrain or undertake an action before or after judgement. In line with the above, a federal high court sitting in Kano received a petition seeking for its intervention on matters relating Kano Emirate Crisis as the state House of Assembly passed a bill for the dissolution of the Five Emirates in the state where the court gives an order restraining the Kano state Governor from assenting a bill into and implementing the...
