APC Youth Blames Kano governor for protest, Promises to take Action Against him

Arewa APC Merger Group Plans to Lodge Complaint Against Governor of Kano State to Amnesty International Over Politically Motivated Protests

The Arewa APC Merger Group has issued a stern complaint against a series of politically motivated protests allegedly invited by the Governor of Kano State.
These protests have been called by unidentified individuals claiming to represent the citizens of Kano State without clear organizational identities.

According to the group, these protests are orchestrated by enemies of Nigeria who aim to destabilize the state, damage property, loot, and kill innocent people.
They believe this is a deliberate attempt to divide national unity and question why such protests are only being planned in northern states.
The group is calling on security agencies to arrest the so-called leaders of these protests for looting, killing, and causing public disturbances.

In a statement released by Hon. Musa Mujahid Zaitawa, the National Coordinator of the group, the Arewa APC Merger Group emphasized their commitment to supporting the current APC government.

The statement, issued in Abuja, expressed the group's resolve to counter any protest efforts intended to sow discord and undermine national cohesion.

"We will hold the Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, responsible for inviting the protest leaders to the government house. He angrily challenged the security agencies for not taking his commands as a means to invite the protest. We are aware that security information released before the protest date was hijacked by political groups and international interests," said Zaitawa.

Despite Abba Kabir Yusuf's public denials and turning the matter into political sponsorship as announced earlier by the Police IGP, the Arewa APC Merger Group has declared his actions "unacceptable."

The group also plans to take their complaint to Amnesty International, asserting that no one is above the rule of law.

"The Arewa youths are steadfast in their allegiance to the APC government," Zaitawa stated.
"We are ready to dedicate ourselves to stopping these politically motivated protests started yesterday. We will not continue losing Nigerian lives and witnessing looting. Our unity and support for the government are crucial in maintaining peace and stability in Nigeria."

The group called on all Nigerians to reject any actions that threaten the nation's unity and to stand together in support of the government.

Kwankwasiyya Rubble-Rousing Short-Wave Politics

By Aliyu Dalhatu Adamu Department of Sociology, Federal University of Dutsin-Ma, Katsina State. The construction of 85km rural roads was flagged-off by the Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, on Monday 17th June 2024 at Madobi Local Government. The occasion afforded Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in the 2023 elections, an opportunity to ventilate his feelings on the forces in political contest in Kano State.  Many people believe that Kano is suffering great abuse in the tight grief of Kwankwaso as an alternate, if not the real, governor in his illegal Third Term. In his emotional outburst, the former Presidential candidate alluded to a number of issues, which many see as pointers to the inner workings of his mind, suggesting his political fortunes in the State are nose-diving or in the least taking a big hit. For instance, from the vituperations of Kwankwaso, one can easily understand that, the NNPP, as...
